I headed off to the Altona lookout — one of my favourite places in Melbourne. What a view of the storm.

I timed it to see the full moon rise. I was expecting it to rise over the Brighton area, and was astounded to see this. You can see the storm creeping into the frame:

I left before the 21:15 fireworks over Melbourne because it started raining. And it rained and rained and rained.

By the time New Years came around, there were fireworks going off everywhere. I climbed onto the roof and everywhere I looked there were fireworks. It was blowing a gail, raining, and fireworks in a 360° view. Lightning was lighting up the sky and thunder was crashing around everywhere.

What a performance! What a fantastic way to see in the new year.

Within the last week Ollie has learnt to crawl.

It always makes Sarah and I smile when we hear Otto going to the toilet. He is a very clever pussy cat.

We do have a video clip of Otto weeing in the toilet. And we are waiting for it to show on Australia’s Funniest Home Video show.

The company that I host my site with had massive problems and subsequently emails and websites were off line for the best part of 3 weeks. I hope that it is all sorted now.
